Support Group Facilitator Trainings
March 16th and March 31st
Learn how to start and lead a support group, manage meetings and overcome common challenges. All materials are provided. Session is free!
Interested participants may choose from two separate times and dates. An afternoon session is available on March 16th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A second training is available in the evening on March 31st from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both trainings will take place at the Wheatfield Community Center on 2790 Church Road in North Tonawanda, NY.

Community Education Presentations: Focus on Wellness
Total Wellness: Strategies for Coping with Stress - You may not be able to stop the source of stress in your life, but you can learn ways to diminish the negative effects it has on your mind and body.
Lunchtime Wellness - Enjoy this condensed presentation during your lunchbreak!
The A-B-C's of Solving Problems - Learn how to apply a bit of Creative Problem Solving to any challenge!
Facilitator Tools: For managers, support group facilitators and leaders. Learn more tools and techniques to help you explore topics, encourage group discussion, solve problems, generate ideas, compare options and evaluate solutions.
Cost: Free, but donations encouraged. Participants may consider becoming a member of the Mental Health Association of Niagara County so we can continue to bring valuable programs to the community. Individual membership is only $15.
