Call for Artwork Entries
The Mental Health Association in Niagara County, Inc. is sponsoring their
3rd Annual “TWIST”Art Show (the way I see this).
Join us in the showing of creative work from individuals who have
experianced a mental health issue at some point in their lives.
Show the community of what you can do!

The Opening Reception will take place on

From 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Artwork must be by July 1, 2009 at The Mental Health
Association Office, 36 Pine, Lockport NY. All mediums will be accepted.
Earch participant may submit two pieces of Artwork.

Help support new and expectant mothers who are having
similar experiences.
Do you know that 20% of new moms suffer with Postpartum Depression?
Together we can help new and expectant mothers get the care they need by offering
MHA’s warm-line service.
Phones will be provided by the MHA.

The Mental Health Association in Niagara County, Inc. will offer programs and services aimed at promoting mental health while advocating for individuals with mental illnesses and working toward dispelling commonly held misunderstandings regarding mental illnesses.

The Mental Health Association in Niagara County, Inc. will create a community where mental health disorders are treated in the same manner as physical disorders, where stigma no longer exsists, where recovery is an expectation following mental heal diagnoses, where finding meaningful employment is possible and living a safe, satisfying life with meaningful relationships is a reality.
